How to Appliqué

How to make appliqués

Iron a fusible web (your choice) on the back of your appliqué fabric.
Hoop the fabric you want the appliqué sewn on.
Stitch the first color, which will show you the proper
Placement of your appliqué.
After stitching color number one, lay (do not fuse
The fabric or take the hoop off your machine) the
Appliqué fabric over your placement guide stitches.
Stitch color number two.
Take the hoop off your machine (do not unhoop
Fabric!) Using appliqué scissors, trim the appliqué
Fabric as close to your stitches as possible. You can
Use small scissors, but be careful.
After access is cut away, place your hoop back on
Your machine and stitch the rest of your design.
When totally sewn out, remove the design from your
Hoop and press your design to make the adhesive
Stick.  If you have one of the tiny tack irons, it would
Work better so as to not flatten your thread.

 Thanks Sally for the instructions
