cut20 9 inch blocks.jpg (100934 bytes)

1.Cut 20 9 inch squares from flannel.
10 right side and 10 lining.
You will cut 1/2 inch fridge all the way around, before or after sewing, it makes no difference. (I used Accuquilt Go to cut )

2.Stitch designs

cut pockets and stitch down leaving top open.JPG (89806 bytes)

3.Cut pockets any size you like and as many as you want. Not on the 2 blank neck squares.
Turn under on 3 sides, turn top down about a inch. Top stitch the pocket to the lining .I surged the edges first.

baste front and back together.JPG (47791 bytes)

4.Baste front and lining together backs to backs, all 4 sides. Helps to keep them even.

stitch 2 blocks.jpg (127089 bytes)

5.Stitch blocks together wrong side to wrong side, until you have them all stitched together.
Being careful to place pockets with opening at the top.

all done.JPG (176037 bytes)

6.Sew sides together and you are done..
The more you wash and dry you scarf the softer it will be.
